Dr. Crete received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University and then continued his studies at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where he graduated with honors.
Dr. Crete is also a graduate of the prestigious L.D. Pankey Institute where he focused his studies in Advanced Restorative Dental Treatment, Complex Occlusion (Bite) Problems, TMJ Syndromes and Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD).
Dr. Crete has completed over 1000 hours of continuing education in the Art of Smile Design and Cosmetic Dentistry. He has studied at the Center for Esthetic Excellence (Chicago) as well as the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry (New Orleans) where he completed the Advanced Program in Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Crete has a strong desire to give back to the Grand Rapids community and is involved in various organizations throughout West Michigan including Leadership Grand Rapids and CARE (the Creative Arts Repertoire Ensemble). He and his wife, Mary Ann, have four children and are involved in their church as well as Spring Hill Camps and The East Grand Rapids Boosters & Community Foundation.
