Alison Griffin, RDH moved to the Grand Rapids area from the State of Vermont. She has been an integral member of our team since 2006, and has been responsible for improving the dental health of numerous patients. She is a 2005 Dental Hygiene graduate of the University of Vermont Dental School, and has obtained certification in advanced techniques. She is qualified to administer nitrous oxide for relaxation as well as local anesthesia for the comfort of her patients. Alison is committed to a balanced life style and stresses proper nutrition and daily oral hygiene as necessary components to be fit and healthy. Alison is also our expert on the correlations between dental health and systemic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes and osteoporosis. Alison's long-term goal is to become a licensed dentist and is currently enrolled in pre-requisite course for dental school.
Alison and her husband, Geoff, reside in East Grand Rapids with their dog, Caden. They enjoy home improvement projects, outdoor recreation, hiking and skiing. One of their favorite pastimes is to prepare gourmet meals and drink great wine!
